  • Where is SPORTSCO located?

    SPORTSCO Leisure Centre is on South Lotts Road, Ringsend, Dublin 4 (D04 R6C2), on a four-acre site close to Shelbourne Park Greyhound Stadium and the Gasworks.

  • What are your opening hours?

    Monday–Friday: 6:30am – 10:00pm
    Saturday & Sunday: 8:00am – 9:00pm
    Bank holidays: 12:00pm – 6:00pm

    Hours can change on special dates — check our news section or contact reception for holiday-specific times.

  • How do I contact you or membership?

  • What facilities are available at SPORTSCO?

    The centre includes a large gym and functional training areas, an award-winning 25-metre, six-lane swimming pool, fitness and indoor cycle studios, a multi-purpose sports hall, squash courts, tennis courts, 5-a-side soccer pitches, and a wide timetable of classes — plus partnerships such as urban spa services (see on site for current offers).

  • How do I join or find out about membership?

    SPORTSCO offers several membership types with flexible monthly and annual payment options. You can explore options online via our Join flow, book a tour, call (01) 668 7022 (ext 0), or email us. Please also read our Code of Conduct and Membership Terms & Conditions on the website.

  • Can I book classes or the pool online?

    Yes. Members can use our online booking system to book activities when it fits your schedule. Class and pool timetables are published online but are subject to change — always check the latest listing in online booking.

  • What should I know before attending a group class?

    Please arrive about 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Minimum age for classes is 16. Classes may change due to instructor availability — check the timetable or call reception on (01) 668 7022 (option 0) if unsure.

  • Tell me about the swimming pool

    Our pool is 25 metres with six lanes. We monitor water quality closely and have been recognised with White Flag Excellence (Gold Standard) awards. Qualified lifeguards are on duty for your safety.

  • What fitness classes do you offer?

    We run a busy timetable across the week — including options such as Spin, HIIT, Yoga, Pump, Box Fit and more in dedicated studios (including refurbished indoor cycling with lighting and climate control). With dozens of classes per week, there is something for different levels and schedules.

  • Do you have squash or tennis?

    Yes. We have competition-standard squash courts (bookable by members; guests may be allowed per policy) and floodlit tennis courts. Squash coaching is available for members; tennis programmes may be advertised seasonally — see news or reception.

  • Is 5-a-side football available?

    Yes — we have 5-a-side soccer pitches. Members can add football on a pay-per-play basis with member discounts at peak times (typically Monday–Friday 5pm–9pm). For details call (01) 668 7022 ext 0 or email us.

  • Can I add racquet sports to my membership?

    You can add squash, tennis, or badminton to your package on a pay-per-play basis; members may be able to bring a guest subject to rules. Contact (01) 668 7022 ext 0 or book a tour for the latest options.

  • How do I get to SPORTSCO by public transport?

    DART: Grand Canal Dock (about 5 minutes’ walk) or Lansdowne Road (about 10 minutes). Bus: routes such as the 91 serve nearby stops (e.g. South Dock Road — check current timetables with Dublin Bus or Transport for Ireland).

  • Is the building accessible?

    SPORTSCO is committed to accessibility and staff receive ongoing training. Specific access features and arrangements can be discussed with reception so we can best support your visit.

  • Do you run activities for children or summer camps?

    We host seasonal programmes such as summer camps and swimming-related events — details are announced on our website and news. Our Child Protection Policy is published online for parents and guardians.

  • Where can I read policies (privacy, refunds, terms)?

  • Can I freeze or cancel my membership?

    Freezes and cancellations depend on your membership agreement and current terms. Please contact reception or email membership@sportsco.ie with your full name and membership reference so we can advise you.

  • Are guests allowed?

    Guest access varies by activity and membership type (for example some racquet sports allow guests). Ask reception about day passes or guest rules for the facility or service you need.

  • What should I bring for a first visit?

    Bring suitable workout gear, a water bottle, and a towel for training or pool use. For the pool, normal swim etiquette applies; for classes, follow the timetable and arrival time guidance. Lockers are available — ask reception if you need a padlock.

  • How long has SPORTSCO been operating?

    SPORTSCO was established in 1979. Our focus on continual improvement and decades of experience has helped us remain one of Ireland’s leading leisure facilities.
